There are endless reasons to appreciate San Francisco, from amazing seafood to beautiful sites, like the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s a quick trip to Napa and Sonoma and right in the city there are endless great sites and scenes, perfect for an adventure for you, or your pup, parrot, or cat.
Whether you take your dog on a classic cable car (they are allowed!), go running on Ocean Beach, go to the park, or just walk the legendary streets, there’s so much and see and do in this wonderful city. Golden Gate Park has more than 1,000 acres of green space and four off-leash dog areas and there’s several off-leash beaches in San Francisco, too.
If you are planning on traveling to San Francisco, there’s no shortage of pet-friendly places to stay. These are gorgeous hotel properties where mom or dad will be happy and comfortable but the dogs will be pampered as well!
Give your pet a bit of culture and visit San Francisco this year. Plan ahead though: Some of these locations have some rules or regulations or fees involved in welcoming your pet.
