What is Pawp's Symptom Checker?
Pawp's Symptom Checker is a free, powerful tool that helps pet parents understand the best next steps for their pet when they're feeling unwell or displaying odd behavior. The easy-to-use, intuitive questionnaire leads the tool to determine a level of concern—low, medium, or high—based on your answers about your pet's symptoms. You then have the option to chat with one of our Vet Pros about your pet's symptoms.
How does Pawp's Symptom Checker work?
To get started with our Pet Symptom Checker, start by adding your pet and information, such as name, breed, weight, gender, spay/neuter status. Select the animal you wish to check symptoms for.
You'll then be prompted to select from a list of symptoms that your cat or dog is experiencing. These include:
Stomach upset
Ear, eye, or mouth problems
Respiratory problems
Swelling or skin issues
Unexpected behavior
Wounds, bleeding, or poisoning
Urinary or genital issues
Other
Based on your selection(s) from above, you'll be asked additional questions that are relevant to your pet's symptoms to give the Vet Pros more information about your pet's health status. Once you've completed the questionnaire, you'll be prompted to enter your contact information so you can receive more information about your pet and the level of concern. This is when you'll have the option to talk with a Vet Pro.
