Whether you have a destination wedding or a family vacation, unfortunately, Fido can't always come with. And finding your furry friend a safe place to stay while you're gone can be stressful if you don't know where to start.
Thankfully, there are plenty of options for dog boarding near Jacksonville that will give pet parents peace of mind that their pooch is in good hands. It's important to find a facility that is clean, safe, and accommodates your pup's lifestyle and needs.
From crate-free facilities to luxury suites with TVs, here are the top Jacksonville dog boarding facilities.

PawStars Pet Care spoils pups with climate-controlled sleep and play areas, indoor and outdoor access, and spacious dog runs. All dogs spending the night here get to enjoy their daycare program, too. If you really want to give your pooch the celebrity treatment, you can opt for one of four luxury suites.
You can choose to have them feed your pup his own food or purchase food from them for $10 per day. They'll also administer any meds your dog needs free of charge.
If you're boarding more than one pup here, they offer a generous discount.

This family-owned facility has been welcoming pups since 1997. Their love for dogs is evident when you see where Fido will be spending his time. When your pooch isn't being walked (which happens every two hours free of charge, by the way) they're romping around the giant dog playground full of obstacles and grassy shaded areas.
If you board additional furry family members, the second is $25 per night and the 3rd is $15/ night. That's a pretty good steal for all the fun your pup is about to have.

Just the name of this Jacksonville dog boarding facility screams luxury. Pet parents can pick between a standard and luxury suite. For $45, pups in standard suites can participate in all day play and enjoy a raised bed and blankets. If you want to give your dog the best of the best, opt for the luxury suite where Fido will get extra space and nightly treats from the barkery—plus, you'll get 24/7 camera access via the webcam.
If you want someone with your dog 24/7, however, this probably isn't the best option. They close on Sundays, so staff members only come in three times to feed and walk the canine guests.

With one location on Shirley Avenue and another on Beach Boulevard, Happy Hound Dog Resorts offers pets a total of 80 luxury kennels and 8 VIP kennels. Each kennel features an above ground bed and bowls for food and water, but if you want your pup to sleep in his normal bed, you're more than welcome to bring it.
Canines lodging here can participate in their daycare program for $4 extra per day.
A bonus? If you have more than one dog staying here, they may upgrade them to a VIP kennel at no extra cost so they can stay together.

All dogs staying at this Jacksonville dog boarding facility enjoy an indoor/outdoor room with a 5-by-8-foot indoor space and a 5-by-16-foot outdoor space (and their luxury suites are even bigger).
Each pup enjoys a raised bed and two one-on-one, 30-minute play sessions every day, and pet parents can watch them on the webcam at no extra cost. You can add daycare for $25 extra per day. Packages and discounts are also available for those boarding more than one dog.

While you're on vacation, your dog will be too if they stay at Pet Paradise. Don't believe us? There's a bone-shaped swimming pool, splash pads, misting stations, and jungle gyms.
Pups staying here get daily exercise then get to retreat into cozy, private rooms when it's time for bed. With auto-refilling water bowls and private doggie doors that lead to outdoor spaces, we're not sure what more a dog could ask for. You can also opt for the indoor-only VIP suite, which gets your pooch a TV, webcam, extra play, premium bedding, and an ice cream treat for $85 a night.
Rate per night: $55-$70
As Jacksonville's first dog park and craft beer/coffee bar, Kanine Social is one of the coolest innovations in dog boarding that we've seen in awhile. They offer daycare, boarding, training—and yes—craft coffee and beer for pet parents. If you use them for daycare, the bar has 15 regional and local craft beers on tap for you to enjoy while the pups play.
As far as boarding goes, each dog guest gets to participate in the daycare program, which means ample socialization and exercise while you're gone. With 7,000 square feet of play space and a full-service veterinarian onsite, you can rest assured that your pup will have a comfortable and safe stay.
